Our Story
We noticed the same scene repeating in office kitchens, school cafeterias, and apartment lobbies: someone standing in front of three bins, holding a container, genuinely unsure where it should go. The labels were ambiguous, the bins were often full, and no one knew when they'd be emptied next.
Sortiva Systems brings together camera-based item recognition, guided sorting, and real-time capacity monitoring in one adaptable device. Instead of hoping people memorize local disposal rules, the container recommends a compartment. Instead of waiting for overflow, it alerts the right person at the right time.
We're building for households managing two or three waste streams and for facility teams managing dozens of bins across multiple sites.
